New International Study Centre at James Madison University (JMU)

Study Group, in association with James Madison University, is delighted to announce the launch of an exciting program for international students at its new on-campus International Study Centre.

In August of this year, the first students from a wide range of countries will arrive at the Centre to commence their degree-preparation studies.

Their 30 week 'transition' program, developed by JMU in association with Study Group, allows full integration into student life at the University while students achieve a high level of English proficiency.

The intensive study program also gives students the opportunity to take university classes during the 2nd semester.

The new Centre and program mark the initiation of the Study Group's new partnership with the University, with other innovative programs planned for 2010.

James Madison University is ranked as the top public, master's-level university in the South in the highly regarded annual poll on academic quality conducted by U.S. News & World Report for its guidebook, 2010 America's Best Colleges. The Princeton Review's 2009 guide, Best Value Colleges, also selected JMU as one of the nation's top 50 best values for a college education. The list recognizes schools that provide high-quality academics at a reasonable price.
