Three Study Group staff have been recognised for their contribution to international education in the global Women in Business ‘Women to Watch’ awards. Chief Executive Emma Lancaster, Natalie Cryan, and Cissy Ou were praised for their impact in the Leadership, Ed Tech and Digital Transformation and Higher Education categories respectively.
The inaugural Women to Watch list 2022 features “women who are empowering, inspiring and supporting others in the business of education globally, nominated by their peers.” Other international education colleagues included in the Women to Watch list include Vivienne Stern - incoming CEO of Universities UK, and Charlene Allen and Sirin Myers - cofounders of the respected IC Global Partnership.
According to Simone Rensch, Head of Business Women in Education, “The BWIE network was founded to bridge the gender diversity gap in the business of education. It recognises women are under-represented, especially in leadership roles and connects like-minded professionals from all corners of the business of education with a shared commitment to the value and wide-ranging benefits that diversity brings.”
