Students gain key employability skills in Study Group’s Hong Kong offices
This initiative, designed to help our pathway students gain skills they can take forward into their careers, saw four students undertake an internship with our expert sales colleagues in Hong Kong. Over the course of four weeks, they spoke with prospective students about their options, helped run our virtual and in-person events, and helped develop visual and written marketing materials. Thank you to all of our interns for their hard work and crucial insights.
Ensuring that students progress to our partner universities equipped with the tools they need to succeed is a key part of our mission and vision.
Here’s what some of our interns thought of the opportunity:
“This internship gave me a great insight into what Study Group does "behind the scenes" which students would rarely have such opportunity... I found this job quite rewarding and look forward to working with Study Group again in the near future.”
Adeline, studied the International Foundation Year at Durham University International Study Centre
“I've learned a lot from working with my colleagues and communicating with fellow DSE Hong Kong students through the phone. I also believe that having this work experience as 'student ambassador' will benefit me in the future for many reasons.”
Joe, studied the International Year One at the University of Sussex International Study Centre
“Being a student ambassador of the Study Group is an invaluable experience that I have learnt a lot during my work. To start with, I want to express my gratitude to Study Group for providing me with professional training and job opportunities to help the upcoming students.”
Chris, studied the International Year One at the Leeds International Study Centre for Progression to University of Leeds
