18 of Study Group’s UK university partners have ranked in The Guardian University Guide 2023 released this week, including seven in the Top 20. This follows our partner's excellent rankings in The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide last week.

University of Oxford and Imperial College London, both partners of Study Group’s digital learning platform insendi, ranked second and fifth respectively in the rankings, closely followed by Durham University in sixth spot.

Notable jumps up the table were recorded by University of Aberdeen at 13, up seven places on its 2022 ranking, and University of Surrey at 24, up from 57 in 2022.

Additionally, Lancaster University (14), University of Strathclyde (16), and University of Leeds (20) all celebrate a Top 20 spot.

Making up the remainder of our Top 50 university partners are The University of Sheffield at 30, Royal Holloway, University of London at 33, and Cardiff University at 35.

Study Group Chief Executive Ian Crichton said:

“Congratulations to all our UK partner universities who have secured such excellent rankings in The Guardian University Guide 2023 – recognition of the positive all-round experience they offer students. We’re proud to have helped so many international students to access these world class higher education institutions and, in turn, see the valuable impact that a diverse and global community of students brings back into the university."
