Statement regarding industrial action at the University of Sheffield

We are aware that planned strike actions at the University of Sheffield will go ahead over 16 days, with the first date of Monday 17 November. The list of planned dates is:

• 17, 18, 19, and 21 November
• 24, 25, 26, and 27 November
• 1, 2, 4, and 5 December
• 9, 10, 11, and 12 December

This action does not involve staff at the University of Sheffield International Study Centre and as such, teaching and support services at the Study Centre will continue as normal.

Please be aware that while we anticipate minimal disruption, some university-operated services may be affected. This industrial action is currently expected to take place over a period of up to ten days, depending on further votes. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and support students throughout this period.
