Study Group provides Extended Progression Support for any student who needs assistance with an alternative university progression plan.

What is Extended Progression Support?

  • Extended Progression support will guide you through the application process for a suitable alternative study programme.
  • Extended Progression Support provides you with peace of mind as we help you to reach the next stage of your academic journey.
  • You will receive full guidance and one to one support.

Who is Extended Progression Support for?

Extended Progression Support is available for any student who passes their Study Group pathway programme but hasn’t achieved the required results to progress to their university of choice.

Are there any additional costs?

The service is free and available to all students on a Study Group programme at no extra cost.

What options are available?

Our staff will guide you through your options and which progression route is best for you.

Depending on your circumstances, there are five possible options:

  1. Repeat your course at your current International Study Centre
  2. Transfer to another International Study Centre to repeat the same/a similar course
  3. Study online with our Study Group Digital Learning programmes
  4. Study one of our International Year One or Two programmes
  5. Discover alternative undergraduate or postgraduate study options at another university.

Options

This option is ideal if you wish to repeat your programme and progress to your original university of choice. This would mean you would start your International Foundation Year again from the beginning.

The Head of Centre at your International Study Centre will need to approve the repeat of your course, as visa compliance rules and visa time limits will need to be considered.

If you cannot, or do not wish to repeat the course at the same International Study Centre, we may be able to offer a suitable alternative (with the same or similar progression options) at one of our other International Study Centres or Colleges. These courses would have similar entry requirements to your previous course and would be subject to visa compliance rules and visa time limits.

If you have just missed out on achieving progression requirements for your chosen degree, we are able to offer you access to our Study Group Digital Learning programmes. These fully digital programmes are available online from wherever you are in the world and offer multiarticulation opportunities so you can choose the right university for you.
